Once Again, Obama Administration Declares, “Constitution, Schmonstitution” Who Needs Separation Of Church And State?


This week has been a-buzzing after truth will out that the Obama Administration via Obamacare, and the Department of Health and Human Services, will force Catholics to do something that is in direct contradiction to their tenets: provide free birth control, sterilizations, and the Morning After Pill.

Here’s the pertinent part:

[snip] The Department of Health and Human Services decided to implement a narrow religious exemption for the Catholic Church under the Affordable Care Act, raising First Amendment questions and the ire of Catholic bishops, about three quarters of whom have addressed the issue to their congregations. The administration would require Catholic institutions to abandon their doctrines on reproductive issues or face catastrophic fines forcing them them to close hospitals that care for about a sixth of U.S. patients.[snip]

Uh, yeah, that went over like a lead balloon with Catholics, as one might imagine. Heck, it didn’t go over too well with anyone in the country who cares about the separation of Church and State.

The Pharaoh and The Madness Mandate~Kat

Apparently Obama considers himself to be a Master of the Universe, the great Pharaoh of the Republic of the United States, as he has so commanded with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act; “So Let it be Written, So let it be Done”; and it was, and all good subjects of the Pharaoh praised him for his wise concern and caring for the people of the land. The Pharaoh knew what his subjects needed to take care of themselves and their families, for they had suffered long and endured without all of their needs and desires being met.  The Pharaoh heard the voices cry out for more and more and more, and he knew he must save the people.
