To date, thirty five companies have boycotted Rush Limbaugh’s show for referring to a woman as a “slut.” Yes, thirty-five, as the Democrats demand more and more companies boycott his show. Heck, Michael Moore “ranted” about this very issue during the MSNBC coverage of the Republicans’ Super Tuesday coverage. Oh, yes he did. Not that I expect anything less from “MSNBO,” but still, come on already.

As noted previously, and very well by Kirsten Powers, where were all these same people when it came to Ed Schultz, or any of the other men on tv or radio who have said horrible things about women? Were they demanding the sponsors give up the programs? Nope. Not even close.

And now, to top it all off, guess who the Alabama Democrats have decided to go see on a group outing and pre-show reception? The biggest, most vulgar, misogynist on tv: Bill Maher. I am not making this up. While they are attempting to drum up the women’s vote by revising history and telling women Evil Republicans don’t want them to have health care, they advertise for Democrats to go hang out with Bill Maher, have a reception, and get prime seating.

But here’s the worst part. I spoke to the Executive Director of the Alabama Democrats, Bradley Davidson. Want to know what he said when I told him that Maher is horribly offensive to women on both sides of the aisle? “That he was hearing that for the first time today, and was not aware of Maher’s treatment of women before this. HUH? How could ANYONE who has EVER heard this man speak not know what a raging misogynist he was? HOW? I simply fail to understand how that can possibly be the case. Unless one ignores it, or sees no problem with it.
