Who Defines What Is “Religious” In Terms Of Law? The Answer May Surprise You


It sure did me. I was reading a commentary by Dr. Charles Krauthammer on both Obama’s campaigning during the National Prayer Breakfast, and this raging issue regarding the Government trampling the First Amendment by imposing rules on religious institutions.

In case you need a refresher, there was an interesting conversation between Father Jonathan Morris, Dick Shoen, and Shawn Hannity. The panel lays out the issues extremely well over this new rule put forth by the Obama Machine:

I have to say, I always love when someone who is not an authority in one field tells someone who IS what the correct interpretation is. I believe that is a logical fallacy: Appeal to Authority. That is what Doug Schoen, whom I generally like, just did to Father Morris.

Lost in Translation


I need to stop opening the Toshiba first thing in the morning, because I find the habit tends to start my day on the wrong foot. Maybe I’ll try to just stay away from the headlines, while I’m getting mentally and physically ready for the day. I’m sure it would be healthier.
