Lenoir City is one of the cities in my tri-county area that I serve in my work. It is a peaceful and beautiful sleepy community. The group recently became involved in a controversy regarding prayer in Lenoir City schools. In addition to sending a letter to the school system demanding a stop to prayer during school activities, the group gave a $1000 student activist award to LCHS senior Krystal Myers for publication of an essay on the rights of atheists.http://ffrf.org/

Have they also heard of the 10th Amendment? We do have a right to practice what we chose to here, it sure doesn’t effect them in Wisconsin anyway. Nosey Parkers! Honestly are they that bored? Is there an outcry from Tennessean’s in Lenoir City who feel that religion is running their lives and ruining it? Are their tax dollars involved in any of this, HELL NO! Continue reading
